At the age of 10, Kavitha discovered the love for Art and her forte has always been pencil sketching. Her love for animals encouraged her to sketch animals so as to shed light on the beauty of the animals. However, there was a long hiatus of not being in that creative space. A few years into her motherhood, she gained confidence and started creating Art, especially after her young son expressed excitement upon seeing her painting and sketching. She gains her inspiration from nature, feminine beauty and motherhood.
Her art serves as a reminder to show empathy and compassion for self and those around them. But she doesn’t stop there. She wanted more folks to be part of this creative space and highly encouraged anyone to create Art. Hence, she has conducted Mindful Art sessions involving coaster painting. She’s moving towards more environmentally conscious art sessions and more in tuned to sensory experiences using soft oil pastels in her art workshops.
