Reborn: Motherhood

Open call for Singapore Art Gallery Month (1 September - 12 October)

Singapore's vibrant art scene is gearing up for an exciting event that promises to captivate art enthusiasts and collectors from the region and around the world.

Singapore Art Gallery Month (previously Singapore Art Gallery Weekend) is set to take place from 1-29 September 2024, coinciding with major international events such as Singapore Grand Prix, TOKEN2049, and Singapore Design Week. Organized by the Art Galleries Association Singapore (AGAS), this annual gathering celebrates the rich diversity of art and culture in the Lion City.

Distinguished by its broad appeal, Singapore Art Gallery Month presents a diverse, dynamic range of the best of contemporary art by both local and foreign artists. It showcases the city-state's dynamic art scene and fosters connections between public audiences and the visual arts ecosystem. This year's edition promises to be the most exciting and immersive yet, inviting visitors on a journey through the city's visual landscape.

We invite mother and women artists to join this distinguished occasion via the following schemes to show case your art, under the theme of "Reborn. Motherhood".

Through this group showcase, we intend to interpret maternal journey and motherhood spirit through art. In celebration of World Mental Health Day (Thu, 10 Oct 2024), we'd also hope to use art to raise awareness of mothers' mental health and gain support for all women/mother artists.
